After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant when I started my corporate career, I was very enthusiastic and confident that I could achieve anything. However, there were times when I failed because I failed to understand the cultural or behavioural requirements of an organisation. Those setbacks pushed my journey back by a few years and I had to work extra hard in the next few years to catch up. As I progressed on that journey, I learnt a lot of skills, traits and competencies that helped me to be successful.

Having spent more than 26 years working with 6 different organisations managing diverse culture, businesses, global & local stakeholders and diverse set of bosses, I learnt what is required to be successful. Believe me, it is a complex journey and you have to manoeuvre your way through a maze of complexities. It is easier to say this now but I feel that my journey would have been much smoother if I had an opportunity to engage a Coach or a Mentor to guide me through the challenges, the way I support my clients now.

As a Leadership & Life Coach and Mentor, I have an opportunity to use my expertise to support my clients to become successful and happy. In my endeavour to share my knowledge and experience more broadly, I am partnering with Radio Dwarka to create a series of mini chat shows to share some important and practical tips to navigate through the maze of corporate life. Hope you will find this useful.

Happy learning!
