Brief Bio

I am a finance professional who has worked in leadership positions for various Global & Indian organisations across a range of industries (Financial Services, Manufacturing, Trading, Agroforestry, Engineering and Exports). I have in-depth experience of managing Financial Services, Controller & CFO functions.

During 26 years of my corporate journey I managed diverse business functions, led large teams, led strategic projects including major restructuring & change initiatives, set up a financial center in India, supported business to launch new products, implemented new technology systems, drove cost savings through process re-engineering & other initiatives, established customer and employee value proposition and led multiple people initiatives. While performing these roles I worked with customers & colleagues across the globe learning different cultures, diverse businesses and most importantly learnt what helps people to be successful. As a senior executive, I have always coached leaders to hone up their skills to be better leaders, drive business goals and develop organisational & individual capabilities.

  I have always been passionate about developing people and helping them to be successful. I was instrumental in establishing People strategy for the RBS Global Finance Center including creation & execution of various Talent & Leadership Development Programs, establishing career development framework, establishing a mentoring programme for all employees and building a learning culture.

My last corporate assignment was with The Royal Bank of Scotland as a Managing Director where I worked for 5+ years. Earlier, as a Director with American Express, I managed multiple roles working with various global teams across APAC, EMEA and US during my ~15 years tenure. In the beginning of my career, I worked with various companies (HCL, DLF, WIMCO, NICCO) managing Controller/CFO roles for diverse businesses.
